Parolee Charged in Deaths of 3 at Bus Stop
A man suspected of killing three people near a bus stop Thursday when he crashed a tow truck onto a crowded Vernon sidewalk has been charged with murder, auto theft and parole violation, police said.
Raymond David Bermudez, 29, was booked Saturday after being released from a hospital.
Bermudez had been paroled from state prison hours before he allegedly stole a tow truck and crashed it into the bus stop at Vernon and Santa Fe avenues. Rosa Carrera, 34, Juana Rios, 43, and Daniel Donrantes, 35, were killed.
