Teen’s Fatal Collision Similar to 2002 Accident
From Times Wire Reports
A 16-year-old girl killed in a traffic accident in Hughesville had survived a similar crash in 2002 that killed her brother.
The crash killed Kayla Winder, a sophomore at Hughesville High School, county Coroner Charles E. Kiessling Jr. said. Police said the vehicle she was driving turned into the path of a pickup truck.
The teen and her twin sister were critically injured in the 2002 crash. They were passengers in a vehicle driven by their brother Jamie Winder, whose truck also turned into the path of a truck.
