From a Times staff writer

Early voting for the Nov. 8 statewide special election begins today using touch-screen machines at 10 polling places throughout Los Angeles County.

“We like to think there are three options for voters in Los Angeles,” said county Registrar of Voters Conny B. McCormack. “They can vote by mail, they can vote early on touch screen, and always there’s election day.”
