Early voting for the Nov. 8 statewide special election begins today using touch-screen machines at 10 polling places throughout Los Angeles County.
“We like to think there are three options for voters in Los Angeles,” said county Registrar of Voters Conny B. McCormack. “They can vote by mail, they can vote early on touch screen, and always there’s election day.”
Early voting sites include Culver City and Monterey Park city halls and public libraries in Redondo Beach and East Los Angeles. A complete listing of sites can be found at the County of Los Angeles Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk’s website at www.lavote.net or by calling (800) 815-2666.
Voting hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekends. Polling place hours on election day are 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
