What’s the Worst Movie Ever?
As a hard-core bad movie fanatic, I’ve observed that every generation seems to have its own “worst movie ever” (“Why We Love Bad Movies,” by Dan Neil, 800 Words, Aug. 7). First there was “Reefer Madness.” Then there was Ed Wood’s “Plan 9 From Outer Space.” Now it seems that we have “Manos: The Hands of Fate.” It’s truly enjoyably bad. But is it the worst ever? I’m sure the next generation of film fans will soon rally around a film of its own to trash.
