Update -- U.S. national team midfielder John O’Brien is expected to make his Major League Soccer debut for Chivas today. O’Brien, sound after a series of injuries but not fully match-fit, could split time with rookie Sacha Kljestan in orchestrating the Chivas attack. Coach Bob Bradley’s side was impressive in a 3-0 rout of Real Salt Lake in its opener at the Home Depot Center, but four-time champion D.C. United presents a much stiffer challenge. D.C. United is without starting goalkeeper Nick Rimando (foot sprain). Midfielder Ramon Ramirez (left knee sprain) and defender Carlos Llamosa (left hamstring strain) are doubtful starters for Chivas.
