With Dodger ticket prices skyrocketing, I won’t be able to sit in the stadium and watch the games. However, with the latest rash of disabled-list additions, at least Ned Colletti’s acquisitions will.

Referring to modern technology, Eric Gagne suggests that “If they had some of the stuff we have now when guys like Sandy Koufax were around, he’d still be pitching today.”

The only thing wrong with that statement is that there were no guys like Sandy Koufax.

Tim Brown’s inexcusable prediction of the Dodgers finishing first in the National League West is comical ... to be kind. Realistically the Dodgers will finish somewhere between Mr. Brown’s and T.J. Simers’ predictions.

The Times had to have gotten this wrong. Cesar Izturis is going to the outfield while Jeff Kent stays at second base? Your beat writer hasn’t gotten it this wrong since he reported Dave Goltz was starting the playoff game in 1980 instead of Fernando.

The Red Sox fired Grady Little for leaving Pedro Martinez in a game too long.

Now, Derek Lowe gives up eight runs, Odalis Perez gives up seven runs, before Little removes them from the game. How long will it take management to realize Little can’t pull the plug?
