J.R. Moehringer’s article was great (“ ‘The House I Lived In,’ ” The Travel Issue, March 26). I felt that I was in the house with Sinatra, Ava, Lana and the Rat Pack, watching the twin palms blowing in the breeze.

The memories and imprint of Sinatra that Moehringer was searching for are alive and well at Capitol Records on Vine Street. Moehringer could close his eyes, listen closely in Studio A, feel the vibe and hear the distant echos of a thousand takes. Intermingled with the far-off voices of Nat, Dean, Peggy and other musicians, the Capitol experience is where Sinatra’s creative spirit was and is most alive.
