Man’s Shooting Death Considered a Homicide

The shooting death of a Compton man is being investigated as a homicide by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
The unidentified man was killed about 9:15 p.m. Saturday in the 1400 block of West 152 Street, according to Deputy Ban Nguyen.
The victim was taken to a hospital, where he was declared dead. No other details were available.
