Suspects Are Sought in Banquet Hall Shooting
From Times Staff Reports
Los Angeles police were seeking suspects Sunday after a gunman opened fire on partygoers at a North Hollywood banquet hall, leaving five people injured.
The shooting occurred about 8:30 p.m. Saturday outside Le Monge banquet hall on Lankershim Boulevard during a quinceanera, or coming out party, for a 15 year-old girl.
Witnesses said suspects drove a silver Honda and may have been gang members who had earlier been turned away from the party.
