Former first lady Betty Ford returned to her desert home Friday after an overnight stay at Eisenhower Medical Center for undisclosed tests, a Ford family spokeswoman said. Ford, who turned 88 on March 27, had an appointment for tests Thursday afternoon, spokeswoman Penny Circle said.
“Mrs. Betty Ford remained in Eisenhower Medical Center overnight following tests late on Thursday afternoon. She has returned home and will resume a normal schedule,” Circle said Friday morning.
No details of the tests were released. Circle said Ford has been in good health.
