Deputies Chase, Kill Suspected Drunk Driver

Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies shot and killed a suspected drunk driver Tuesday evening in an unincorporated area near Compton after a 20-minute pursuit, authorities said.
Officials said they did not know whether the driver was an adult or a juvenile.
It is the second fatal shooting by deputies in the Compton area in the last seven months.
Earlier this year the suspect in a liquor store robbery who was carrying a weapon on a Compton street was shot and killed by a sheriff’s deputy trying to apprehend him.
