Univision Posts Profit, Reports Ad Growth

Univision Communications Corp., which is being acquired by a private investor group, posted a higher quarterly profit with strong growth in advertising aimed at the U.S. Latino market.
The Los Angeles-based broadcaster said second-quarter net income rose to $107.4 million, or 32 cents a share, from $36.1 million, or 10 cents a share, a year earlier.
Revenue rose to $634 million from $508.5 million a year earlier.
