This Athlete Has True Olympic Spirit

British track athlete Darren Campbell took a stand. At the recent European Championships he announced that he was taking responsibility for making his sport clean. Mr. Campbell refused to take a victory lap with a teammate who would not disclose information about sources of doping. That teammate had just returned to competition after serving a two-year suspension for doping.

I encourage other athletes to take similar action. The active participation of athletes insisting on fair play is essential to leveling the playing field for all athletes.
