Record vs. FC Dallas -- 0-1.

Update -- Can the struggling Galaxy, with a league-low 17 goals this season, turn it around in its last 10 regular-season games and salvage a playoff spot? The answer could come this evening when FC Dallas, in first place in the Western Conference and 16 points ahead of last-place L.A., visits the Home Depot Center. “L.A. is a tough place, and our record there the last few years hasn’t been great,” Dallas midfielder Richard Mulrooney told MLSnet.com. That record shows Coach Colin Clarke’s squad with seven losses in seven games against the Galaxy in Carson. To win another, the Galaxy will have to liven up its offense, which is led by Landon Donovan and Herculez Gomez, who have a mere four goals apiece from a combined 68 shots. Dallas is coming off a 1-0 loss to the second-place Houston Dynamo that cut its conference lead to four points.
