Update -- The Sparks were 15-2 at home during the regular season, the best record in the WNBA. The two losses were to San Antonio and Seattle. Friday’s 84-72 loss, the Sparks’ fifth in the last six meetings overall against the Storm, means they must win today to force a third and deciding game Tuesday. Sparks Coach Joe Bryant and staff must find some way to free up leading scorer Lisa Leslie, who was held to one shot in the second half. Defending WNBA champion Sacramento, which swept its first-round series against Houston, plays the Sparks-Storm series winner for the Western Conference title.
