at Atlanta 13, San Francisco 8: Andruw Jones homered twice for the Braves to counter two homers by Barry Bonds, who reached 727. It was Bonds’ first two-homer game since 2004.

at Houston 10, Milwaukee 3: Pinch-hitter Jason Lane hit a grand slam during a seven-run eighth inning, but Willy Taveras was 0 for 3, ending his hitting streak at 30 games, the longest in Astros history.
