Paris: Friendly in 9th arrondissement

Share

“MY husband and I love to travel. We just came back from another trip to the beautiful city of Paris.

“We stayed at a smaller European hotel, very clean, friendly and with helpful staff, in the 9th arrondissement, at the center of Paris and close to several Metro stations.

“It’s on a street that is pedestrian friendly.

“A wonderful breakfast is included.”

Doubles from $245.

Mexico: A find in Puerto Vallarta

“THERE is a wonderful shop in Puerto Vallarta named Ponciana, a few blocks behind the Malecon. The wares include a variety of gift items. Among my favorites are the hand-painted Christmas ornaments, which sell for about $1.50. They are small and light enough that I often enclose them in Christmas cards as a special little gift.”
