UC Riverside (3-5) at Montana (3-5), 2 -- Riverside is trying to end a three-game losing streak that included a 61-38 loss to UCLA on Sunday. But they’ll have to do it short-handed. Forwards B.J. Visman and Benoit Bekono have been sidelined for the season by injuries. They were averaging a combined 16 points and 15.5 rebounds. The Grizzlies’ 10-game home winning streak ended Wednesday against Western Kentucky.

UC Irvine (3-4) at Loyola Marymount (6-4), 7 -- The Lions return home for the first time since Nov. 19. They played six road games in 14 days, going 3-3 against teams that are a combined 36-15, but have lost two consecutive games and three of four. Irvine is coming off a two-week break for final exams since a 68-66 victory over Pepperdine on Nov. 25.

Cal State Fullerton (5-2) at Pepperdine (2-7), 7 -- The Titans have lost two of three since a 4-0 start and were averaging 90 points a game, sixth in the nation, before a 78-54 loss Tuesday to UCLA. Still, the Titans have six players with scoring averages in double digits. Pepperdine’s Marvin Lea had a career-high 34 points Thursday against Long Beach State and is averaging team bests of 19.2 points and 5.0 rebounds.

Sacramento State (5-5) at Long Beach State (4-4), 7 -- The 49ers played their best all-around game of the season Thursday in a 95-90 victory over Pepperdine. They shot 56.9% from the field and outrebounded the Waves, 38-24. Sacramento State is coming off an overtime victory over Pacific, the three-time defending Big West Conference champion. Anyone bringing a new, unwrapped toy will receive a free general admission ticket.

Boise State (3-4) at Cal State Northridge (5-3), 7 -- The Matadors are ninth in the nation in scoring, averaging 88.4 points. In three home games, they are averaging 118.7, though that average is skewed by a 159-point outburst against Division III Redlands. Northridge ended a two-game losing streak Sunday with a 102-98 victory over Eastern Washington. Boise State is 0-4 on the road.

Hawaii (4-3) at USC (3-4), 1 -- The Trojans, unable to overcome their 15% first-half shooting and a 23-point deficit in Monday’s 70-66 loss at Utah, face the Rainbow Wahine in the first of six consecutive home games. The game will be played in the Lyon Center because of a scheduling conflict at the Galen Center.
