Man, 23, is arrested in stabbing of his parents

A 23-year-old man was in custody Saturday on suspicion of stabbing his parents following a family altercation, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
Authorities said Clinton Blake was arrested in connection with the assault on John Blake, 54, and his wife, Cynthia, 52, who each suffered multiple stab wounds to the chest and head.
The couple were reported to be in critical condition at a local hospital after the attack, which occurred late Friday in the 21000 block of Hyatt Avenue, deputies said.
