Panthers hand Flyers another loss

Rostislav Olesz had a goal and an assist as the Florida Panthers extended Philadelphia’s franchise-record losing streak to 10 games with a 3-1 victory Wednesday night at Sunrise, Fla.

Jozef Stumpel and Mike Van Ryn also scored for Florida.

Kyle Calder scored for the Flyers, who haven’t won since beating the New York Islanders, 3-2, on Nov. 30.

In other games: Mathieu Dandenault and Aaron Downey had first-period goals, and Montreal beat host Washington, 4-1.... Ray Emery stopped 18 shots for his second shutout of the season, leading Ottawa past the visiting New York Islanders, 2-0.... Atlanta won its fifth in a row, beating host Pittsburgh, 4-2. The Penguins have lost five in a row.... Dominik Hasek made 32 saves as Detroit beat visiting Minnesota, 3-1....
