Officials Seek Review of Outside Legal Spending

LOS ANGELES
Citing a state audit that found city spending on outside law firms has nearly doubled in five years, Councilmen Bill Rosendahl and Bernard C. Parks called Wednesday for a review to make sure money is not being wasted.
The two lawmakers moved to ask the city administrative officer to review the billings.
