Eco-sensitivity means less is more

Share

“Designed for Clean Living,” Feb. 5, featured a house that was built to be environmentally sensitive. How can a 5,213-square-foot house be environmentally sensitive? Just think of the savings in building resources and nonrenewable fossil fuels for heating if they had built 1,000 square feet less. That would still leave an exorbitant 1,050 square feet per person for a family of four. If this house is green, then my neighbor’s Hummer H2 has good fuel economy.
