From Times Staff and Wire Reports

Another member of the advisory board of the Bruin Alumni Assn., an organization formed by conservative activist Andrew Jones to expose what he says are “radical professors” at UCLA, has decided to resign.

State Sen. Bill Morrow (R-Oceanside) said he was leaving because the controversy was detracting from his efforts to promote legislation providing a “student bill of rights” for California college students.

Jones drew widespread attention for his now withdrawn offer to pay students for information about their professors.
