The Galaxy scored for the first time in 525 minutes, but it wasn’t enough.

Eddie Robinson scored in the 85th minute to lift the Houston Dynamo to a 2-1 victory over the Galaxy on Saturday night.

Robinson took a corner kick from Brad Davis and headed it in from three yards for his first goal of the season.

Houston (5-3-2) won for the first time in four games despite playing without MLS leading scorer Brian Ching, who is playing for the U.S. national team in the World Cup.

The Galaxy (2-8-1) lost its sixth consecutive match. The Galaxy has three players in the World Cup -- Landon Donovan and Chris Albright playing for the U.S. and Cornell Green playing for Trinidad and Tobago.

Dwayne De Rosario stole the ball from the Galaxy’s Nathan Sturgis and scored the game’s first goal from 15 yards in the 21st minute. It was De Rosario’s fourth goal of the season.

The Galaxy tied the score in the 45th minute when John Wolyniec took a pass from Todd Dunivant and scored his first goal of the year on a header.
