Streisand plans U.S. concert tour
Barbra Streisand announced Thursday that she will embark on a 20-concert tour this fall to cities across the U.S., her first tour in more than a decade.
The 64-year-old singeractress plans to give “designated proceeds” from the October-November tour to support several causes, including the environment, education and women’s health.
The money will be distributed through the Streisand Foundation.
“The increasingly urgent need for private citizen support to combat dangerous climate change, along with education and health issues, was the prime reason I decided to tour again,” Streisand said in a statement.
Dates and locations will be announced at a later date.
