Carlos Ruiz and Roberto Mina each scored a goal to lead FC Dallas to a 2-1 victory over Chivas USA on Sunday.

FC Dallas (7-2-3) ended Chivas USA’s club-record three-game undefeated streak and is 4-0-1 in the all-time series.

Mina’s goal in the 82nd minute gave FC Dallas a 2-0 lead and turned out to be the decider. Mina took a pass from Ronnie O’Brien and dribbled past Chivas’ Jason Hernandez before he tapped the ball into the left corner from about five yards away for his third goal of the season.

Seconds later in the 83rd minute, Ante Razov -- Major League Soccer’s goal-scoring leader -- made it 2-1 with his ninth goal of the year. Razov took a shot from 15 yards away that bounced off the right post and into the left corner. Matt Taylor assisted on Razov’s score.

Ruiz scored in his seventh straight game in the 28th minute, tying Raul Diaz Arce and Wolde Harris for the MLS record for consecutive games with a goal.

Razov failed to convert on two excellent second-half scoring chances for Chivas (4-5-1).

In the 74th minute, Razov had a shot at an empty goal after goalkeeper Dario Sala came out of the goalkeeper’s box to play a pass by Jesse Marsch. Razov took the feed from Marsch but hurried a shot wide right. In the 48th minute, Razov slipped past two defenders and fired a shot from nine yards away that bounced off the left post.
