A house that’s as beloved as owner

I loved the story about the O’Neill guesthouse [“Hidden Nature, in Two Boxes,” June 15]. My family and I have spent many happy times there; the children in the top house, and my wife and I below.

Donna O’Neill was a wonderful human being who could see beauty where others missed it, someone who made a difference in the world. To know her was to love her and, even now, almost four years after her passing, it is hard to believe that she’s gone.

Thank you for bringing us this wonderful reminder.
