On the mend: Oscar-nominated actor James Woods, 59, whose credits include “Salvador” and “Ghosts of Mississippi,” was recovering at home in the L.A. area Tuesday after doctors performed an angioplasty the day before to open clogged heart arteries, his publicist said.

On the mend, Part 2: Keith Richards has been released from a New Zealand hospital where the Rolling Stones guitarist was admitted with a head injury after he reportedly fell out of a palm tree while on vacation in Fiji.

The publicist later said that Woods actually underwent an angiogram to check out chest pain and that no blockages were found.
