On the mend: Oscar-nominated actor James Woods, 59, whose credits include “Salvador” and “Ghosts of Mississippi,” was recovering at home in the L.A. area Tuesday after doctors performed an angioplasty the day before to open clogged heart arteries, his publicist said.

James Woods: A Quick Takes item in Wednesday’s Calendar section said that actor James Woods, according to his publicist, had undergone an angioplasty to open clogged arteries. The publicist later said that Woods actually underwent an angiogram to check out chest pain and that no blockages were found.
