Arizona is turning out to be the master of upsets in the Pacific 10 Conference.

First Washington State, then California, and finally Oregon -- and at Autzen Stadium in Eugene, no less.

Arizona, 6-5 overall, 4-4 in the conference, has a modest three-game winning streak and is bowl eligible after a 37-10 victory over the Ducks on Saturday. The Wildcats will probably need a win on Saturday at home against Arizona State to receive a bowl bid.

“Sometimes it’s just your time, and we feel that it is ours. We feel good about the way we are playing now,” Coach Mike Stoops said. “We have a big game next week against Arizona State, and hopefully we’ll have a lot of options in December.”

Arizona is above .500 for the first time since Nov. 10, 2000. The Wildcats have not had a winning season since 1998.

Arizona was coming off a 24-20 victory over then-No. 8 California last weekend, and a 27-17 upset of then-No. 25 Washington State in Pullman a week before.

Against Oregon, running back Chris Henry took over, running for 191 yards and two touchdowns and also catching a scoring pass.

Quarterback Willie Tuitama started for Arizona, but left before halftime after the team said he had a concussion. He completed eight of nine passes for 120 yards and two scores. He watched from the sideline after he was replaced by Adam Austin.

It was the first loss of the season at Autzen Stadium for Oregon (7-4, 4-4).

Dennis Dixon completed 14 of 22 passes for 88 yards and three of his passes were intercepted. He was replaced by Brady Leaf, and one of Leaf’s passes was intercepted on his first series. The Ducks also lost two fumbles.

“We need to get better in a hurry,” Oregon Coach Mike Bellotti said. “Right now, we have certainly hit a plateau, or gone backward, and that’s frustrating. I think it’s tied to turnovers, and the play at quarterback. We have to evaluate that and make sure that it improves in a hurry.”

Washington 35, Washington State 32 -- Carl Bonnell threw for 271 yards and two touchdowns and Louis Rankin scored on a 77-yard run early in the fourth quarter to lead the Huskies to an Apple Cup victory at Pullman, Wash.

A week after a 20-3 loss to previously winless Stanford, the Huskies scored their most points since a season-opening win over San Jose State.

The win ended a six-game losing streak for the Huskies (5-7, 3-6 Pac-10). The Cougars (6-6, 4-5) finished the regular season with three consecutive losses.

Oregon State 30, Stanford 7 -- Matt Moore threw for 176 yards and two touchdowns and ran for a one-yard score, spoiling the Cardinal’s final shot at winning a game in its first season in renovated Stanford Stadium.

Yvenson Bernard carried 36 times for 168 yards to go over the 1,000-yard mark. Alexis Serna kicked field goals of 29, 31 and 18 yards for Oregon State (7-4, 5-3 Pac-10).

Stanford (1-10, 1-7), which shocked Washington the previous game in Seattle for its first victory to end an 11-game skid, was trying to salvage one win in its sparkling new stadium that underwent a $90 million face-lift during the off-season.

The game featured six lead changes and more than 600 yards of offense. Trailing, 23-20, with 51 seconds left, Clark lofted a 42-yard pass to Nick Koller, giving the Pirates first-and-goal from the Occidental four-yard line. On third-and-goal from the Tigers’ one, Clark faked a handoff and rolled out, spotting Drew Griggs for the winning touchdown.

at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo 55, Savannah State 0: Jeremy Konaris scored three touchdowns to help the Mustangs (7-4) to victory in their newly expanded stadium. The team’s $21.5 million Alex G. Spanos Stadium, expanded to seat 11,775, was dedicated before the game. Cal Poly totaled 434 rushing yards.

at No. 23 Brigham Young, 42, New Mexico 17: John Beck passed for 464 yards and four touchdowns, Curtis Brown became the leading rusher in Brigham Young history and the Cougars (9-2, 7-0) clinched the Mountain West Conference title and accepted a bid to the Las Vegas Bowl. Quincy Black returned an interception 88 yards for a touchdown for the Lobos (5-6, 3-4).

Wyoming 34, at Nevada Las Vegas 26: It’s getting ugly in Las Vegas. The Rebels (1-10, 0-7 Mountain West) have lost 10 in a row. The Falcons (4-6, 3-3) must beat Nevada Las Vegas and Texas Christian on the road to avoid their third consecutive losing season, something that has never happened in Coach Fisher DeBerry’s 23 years at the academy.

BEST OF THE REST

at No. 6 Notre Dame 41, Army 9: Bring on USC. A few minutes after leading the Fighting Irish (10-1) to a rout of the Black Knights (3-8), quarterback Brady Quinn went over to the student section to join the cheers: “Beat SC! Beat SC!” Quinn shouted, pumping his arm to keep the fans’ rhythm. Notre Dame Coach Charlie Weis doesn’t usually acknowledge looking ahead, but he has already watched every offensive and defensive play USC has run this season. He even said that two-thirds of the plays the Irish practiced this past week were to prepare for the Trojans. But to make sure his team wasn’t focusing on the Bowl Championship Series race instead of the Black Knights, Weis ordered that the Michigan-Ohio State score not be announced during the game. The Irish wore green jerseys for the first time since losing to top-ranked USC, 34-31, last October.

at Southern Methodist 34, Tulsa 24: The Mustangs (6-5, 4-3 Conference USA) scored 27 consecutive second-half points to erase a 17-point halftime deficit, tying for the third-largest comeback in team history. The Golden Hurricane (7-4, 4-3) lost its third in a row.

at Navy 42, Temple 6: The Midshipmen (8-3) brushed aside the Owls (1-11) for their third consecutive lopsided victory. Over the past three weeks, Navy has outscored Duke, Eastern Michigan and Temple by a combined 129-40.
