Holiday closures
* Government: All city, county, state and federal offices and public schools will be closed today and Friday. Libraries and post offices will also be closed today.
* Transportation: MTA buses and trains will follow their Sunday schedules today. The Los Angeles County transit system will return to its regular weekday schedule Friday.
* Trash: There will be no trash collection in Los Angeles today. Trash collection will resume Friday.
