Site -- Home Depot Center.

Radio -- 1020.

Records -- Chivas USA 8-7-10, FC Dallas 14-8-3.

Record vs. FC Dallas -- 1-1.

Update -- With six regular-season games remaining, first-place FC Dallas is nine points ahead of the field in the Western Conference, but only four points separate the division’s other five clubs, including the Galaxy. Two of them will not make the playoffs. This is the first of consecutive games between the teams, with fourth-place Chivas USA traveling to Texas for the second game on Wednesday. The team will remain in Texas and play the Houston Dynamo on Sept. 17. Midfielder Juan Francisco “Paco” Palencia, out for a month because of a hamstring injury, came on as a second-half substitute Sunday in a 2-1 loss to D.C. United but was red-carded and is suspended tonight. Mexican defender Johnny Garcia, acquired last week to help the playoff push, did not make his MLS debut because of a quadriceps injury but is listed as “probable” for tonight. Chivas USA’s players will take part in the Mexican Independence Day parade in East Los Angeles on Sunday morning.
