FAA Grant Will Be Used to Upgrade Airport

Palm Springs International Airport has received $6.8 million from the Federal Aviation Administration to improve airport operations and runway safety.
About $6.5 million will go toward renovating the taxiways at the airport, officials said.
An additional $350,000 will go toward replacing signs and other markers.
