Thanks for the tips, food for thought

THE Healthy Traveler column was very helpful and timely [“Food That Flies Well? Skip the Cookies, Think Trail Mix,” Sept. 10]. I’ve taken my own food and water on airplanes for years but was unsure about the new regulations.

Your article answered all questions and made terrific suggestions about what to pack in a carry-on to avoid those terrible mistakes we are so apt to make when we get hungry and thirsty and are unprepared.

Thanks very much, and I look for more continued good sense and advice from you.
