ROUNDUP
Philadelphia 6, at Houston 4: Ryan Howard hit his major league-leading 57th home run, and Mike Lieberthal connected twice as Randy Wolf (4-0) and the Phillies moved one game behind the Dodgers for the NL wild-card spot. Howard tied a team record with 29 road home runs this season. He has also homered in 16 of the 19 parks he has played in this year. Wolf won his career-best ninth straight decision, the first time a Phillies starter has done that since Steve Carlton in 1980-81.
*
at Atlanta 8, Florida 7: Marcus Giles hit a run-scoring single and another runner scored when Marlins left fielder Josh Willingham let the ball go through his legs, capping a five-run rally. After Florida scored four times in the top of the 10th, errors by shortstop Hanley Ramirez and Willingham lifted Atlanta.
*
Colorado 6, at Arizona 1: Jeff Francis (12-11) gave up three hits in eight innings, and Jeff Baker hit his first home run of the season to lift the Rockies.
*
at Chicago 11, Cincinnati 3: Carlos Zambrano (15-6) hit his fifth homer of the season in a seven-run first inning and threw seven scoreless innings in his return after sitting out two starts because of stiffness in his lower back.
*
at Washington 6, Milwaukee 1: The Nationals’ Austin Kearns homered and singled in the go-ahead run in the seventh.
*
San Francisco at St. Louis: The game was called after a rain delay and will not be made up unless it’s necessary to determine a playoff spot.
