A few of Rita Wilson’s famous friends -- Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban, Sandra Oh, Arianna Huffington, Allison Janney, Nia Vardalos, Rob Reiner and Kate Capshaw -- showed up to see her in the new play “Distracted” at the Mark Taper Forum last Sunday. Her hubby, 1. Tom Hanks, did a quick paparazzi pose, and 2. Steven Spielberg stopped long enough to sign a few autographs on the way in.

TV Guide gets ‘Sexy’ at special-issue party
Who you calling sexy? TV Guide threw a bash for the mag’s first “Sexy” issue March 21. With more than 40 stars in the edition, there was lots to ogle at Bar Marmont, such as everyone’s favorite hot doc 7. Jesse Spencer (“House”) and Dunder-Mifflin’s hottie 8. Rashida Jones (“The Office”), joking around with Dave Annable (“Brothers & Sisters”). Sadly MIA: the Sexy issue’s cover girl, Evangeline Lilly, who was stuck on Oahu shooting “Lost.” Darn it.

9. Perez Hilton celebrated his 29th birthday with a party at the Roxy on March 23. Kelly Osbourne, center, Amy Weinhaus, Dita Von Teese, John Stamos, Paris Hilton and Donovan Leitch all came to the notorious blogger’s party. Absolut Pear-Ezelle was served. Is blue-haired Perez enjoying his newfound fame? “It feels amazing because I’ve worked really hard to get here.” Enjoy the next 14 minutes.

A Smashbox soiree at home in the Hills
There’s no place like home. Especially after 10. Joey Tierney’s first Smashbox show of her new collection March 20. Gran Centenario sponsored her Hollywood Hills house party for family and friends such as Sting’s daughters Mickey, left, and Kate Sumner, right, who also walked the runway in her sophisticated black silk and lace dresses.

Nothing says medieval like a knight on a noble steed, which is why they guarded Monday’s premiere of Showtime’s new series “The Tudors,” about the tumultuous reign of Henry VIII. Star Jonathan Rhys Meyers’ pal Lindsay Lohan came for the screening and lingered at Les Deux’s after-bash, which was decorated like a Tudor court so celeb guests could feel more like royalty than they already do.
