San Francisco 6, at San Diego 5 -- Barry Bonds hit an RBI single and scored a run, and the Giants ended a four-game losing streak. Right-hander Matt Morris (2-0) has both of San Francisco’s victories after beating the Padres for the second time in six days. He gave up two runs and seven hits in 5 1/3 innings, striking out three and walking four.

at Arizona 5, Cincinnati 4, 11 innings -- Scott Hairston hit the game-winning double in the 11th to extend the Diamondbacks’ winning streak to six. Conor Jackson singled with two outs off David Weathers (0-1), and Hairston drove a 2-1 pitch off the center-field wall to score Jackson without a play. Reds outfielder Josh Hamilton, out of baseball for three years as he struggled with cocaine addiction, hit a two-run homer for his first major league hit.

at Atlanta 8, Washington 0 -- Tim Hudson pitched three-hit ball over seven innings and Jeff Francouer drove in five runs to extend the Nationals’ losing streak to five. The Nationals haven’t scored in the first three innings of any game. Hudson (1-0) held the Nationals without a hit for 4 2/3 innings.

St. Louis 3, at Pittsburgh 2, 12 innings -- St. Louis rallied from two runs down in the ninth and Gary Bennett successfully gambled by tagging up on a short fly ball to score the winning run in the 12th.

Houston 4, at Chicago 2 -- Chris Sampson pitched five shutout innings. He gave up three singles in his fourth major league start, his first this season.

at Florida 2, Milwaukee 2, 10 innings, susp., rain -- The game was suspended after three rain delays. It will be resumed tonight in the top of the 11th inning and be followed by the finale of the three-game series.

at Dodgers 2, Colorado 1 -- The Dodgers get their first home victory.
