* Houston 9, at Philadelphia 6: Carlos Lee hit three homers, including a grand slam, and drove in six runs, Morgan Ensberg had a three-run shot and the Astros overcame a rare erratic outing from Roy Oswalt. Oswalt (2-0) was uncharacteristically wild, walking a career-high six batters while yielding six runs and seven hits in five innings.

* at New York 3, Washington 2: The Nationals gave Manager Manny Acta an early lead in his return to New York, but it wasn’t enough to win his first matchup with his former boss, Willie Randolph. Pinch-hitter Julio Franco singled up the middle to put the Mets ahead, 3-2, in the seventh. David Wright, who extended his hitting streak to 22 games in the second inning, led off with a single and stole second. Franco then grounded a single for his first hit of the season.

* Florida 11, at Atlanta 4: It was the first game and win for Marlins Manager Fredi Gonzalez against the Braves, where he was the third-base coach the previous four seasons. Dontrelle Willis (3-0) improved to 12-1 in April.

* Colorado 6, at Arizona 3: Brad Hawpe hit a tiebreaking two-out, two-run double in the seventh inning, and the Rockies handed Diamondbacks ace Brandon Webb his first April loss in 15 starts dating to April 17, 2004, in San Diego.

* Milwaukee at St. Louis, ppd., rain: No makeup date was announced, and the second game of the series was pushed back to tonight because the forecast called for continuous showers throughout the night.

* at Dodgers 9, San Diego 1: Rafael Furcal, activated from the disabled list before the game, drove in two runs.
