Atlanta 7, at New York 6: Left fielder Willie Harris robbed Carlos Delgado of a tying home run in the ninth inning, and the Braves held off the Mets. The Mets had scored three times in the ninth inning, capped by David Wright’s two-run homer.

Chicago 10, at Colorado 2: Jacque Jones matched a season high with four runs batted in, and Ted Lilly won for the eighth time in nine decisions as the Cubs romped past the Rockies. Jones was four for five and got his 1,300th hit with a single.

at Arizona 4, Pittsburgh 2: Tony Clark homered and drove in two runs, and Doug Davis won his fourth straight decision as the Diamondbacks beat the Pirates. Orlando Hudson drove in the go-ahead run in the seventh inning for Arizona, which won for the fifth time in six games.

Florida 4, at Philadelphia 2: Josh Willingham homered and drove in two runs in his return to Florida’s lineup, leading the Marlins over the Phillies.
