Hockey: In Wednesday’s Sports section, the NHL roundup said Dave Lewis, newly hired by the Kings as assistant coach, was head coach for the Detroit Red Wings in 2002 when the team won the Stanley Cup. However, Scotty Bowman was head coach at the time of that Cup win, and then retired immediately afterward. Lewis, who was Bowman’s associate coach in that Cup win, was hired in July 2002 as Detroit’s head coach.
