Cal State Fullerton coasts
The Cal State Fullerton men’s basketball team remained unbeaten at home, easily defeating Southern Utah, 99-63, Monday at Titan Gym.
Marcus Crenshaw had 17 points and eight assists to lead the Titans (5-2), who are 3-0 at home. Southern Utah (2-9) had a 24-21 lead before Fullerton’s Josh Akognon scored 14 points during a 23-6 surge that put the Titans ahead, 44-30, with 1:14 left in the first half. The Titans began the second half by making nine of their first 10 shots to extend their lead to 66-42 with 12:55 left.
