UC Santa Barbara (10-1) at North Carolina (10-0), 10 a.m. PST -- The Gauchos are off to their best start in 19 seasons and the second-best start in school history. Their eight-game win streak is the longest under 10th-year Coach Bob Williams. Top-ranked North Carolina is averaging 90 points a game.

UC Irvine (4-6) at Texas A&M; (10-1), 11 a.m. PST -- The Anteaters are completing a two-game swing through Texas after losing to Sam Houston State on Thursday. Patrick Sanders and Darren Fells lead the way with 12.7 and 11.8 points a game. Texas A&M; is 8-0 at home and is giving up only 58 points a game.

Wagner (7-3) at Loyola Marymount (3-9), 3 p.m. -- The Lions have lost five of their last six games and are averaging only 61 points over that span. Orlando Johnson leads the way with 12.2 points a game. Wagner has won six of its last seven games. Mark Porter and Durell Vinson combine to average 29.2 points.

Wright State (5-3) at Cal State Fullerton (6-2), 3 p.m. -- The Titans are 4-0 in Titan Gym, but several players were stricken with stomach flu this week. Wright State has won three of its last four and limited opponents to an average of 54 points in that span.

Cal State Northridge (7-2) at Washington (6-4), 3 p.m. -- The Matadors have won three of their last four games and are off to their best start since 1983-84. They lead Big West Conference teams with 41.6 rebounds per game but are 2-4 against Pacific 10 teams since 2000. Washington is 6-1 at home.

Cal State Bakersfield (1-10) at UC Riverside (3-6), 7 p.m. -- Senior guard Larry Cunningham is averaging 16 points a game to lead the Highlanders, who are coming off a victory over Loyola Marymount. Five Highlanders scored in double figures in that game.
