* Golden State 105, at Cleveland 96: Stephen Jackson scored 29 points and Baron Davis had 27 to lead the Warriors past the Cavaliers, who lost for the 10th time in 13 games and were booed by their fans. Golden State never trailed and built an 89-61 lead late in the third quarter. LeBron James scored 25 points for Cleveland.

* Denver 106, at Sacramento 105: Linas Kleiza recovered the ball in a scramble and made a jump shot just before the final buzzer sounded, lifting the Nuggets to a victory. The Kings’ Brad Miller missed two free throws with 16.5 seconds left. After Allen Iverson missed from close range, Marcus Camby tipped the ball and Kleiza got possession and made the shot while falling away under pressure from the left wing. Carmelo Anthony had 30 points and 12 rebounds for Denver.

* at Detroit 94, Houston 82: Richard Hamilton scored 17 points and Antonio McDyess had 12 points and 11 rebounds as the Pistons won their fifth in a row. Tracy McGrady didn’t play in the second half for the Rockets after aggravating a sore knee, and Yao Ming sat out most of the second half after needing four stitches to close a facial cut.

* at Boston 103, Orlando 91: Four starters scored at least 21 points for the Celtics, who improved to 14-1 at home. Paul Pierce had 24 points, Rajon Rondo 23, Ray Allen 22 and Kevin Garnett 21 for Boston, which has the league’s best record at 22-3. Dwight Howard had 23 points and 14 rebounds, but the Magic lost for the seventh time in nine games. Howard missed 11 of 16 free throws.

* Lakers 95, New York 90: Kobe Bryant (29 years and four months) becomes the youngest player in NBA history to reach 20,000 points.
