Kings clubbed

The Jan. 26 “Kings of the Bungle” piece documenting the Kings’ disappointing season and history concludes with a Kings fan’s comments that if the Ducks win the Stanley Cup first, he will no longer be a hockey fan. I don’t see why more Southern California hockey fans can’t support both of our local teams as I do. I’m the same with baseball, as I’m a fan of both the Angels and the ... Padres. Not the Dodgers, though. I have my limits.

Chris Foster’s piece was nothing new to me or anyone else who has followed the team. The Kings are the Arizona Cardinals of the NHL, seemingly always in the first year of a five-year rebuilding plan.
