O.C. man accused in 3 flashing incidents
The man with no pants appeared to have a thing for pooches.
In October a woman walking her dog near Rancho Santa Margarita was flagged down by a driver asking for directions. As she neared his car, it became apparent that he wore only a shirt and a smile.
When the driver took off, she scribbled down part of his license plate number.
The flasher struck again Nov. 9 in an unincorporated area of southern Orange County, and Jan. 17 in Laguna Hills -- both times exposing himself to females walking dogs.
Why he seemed to target them is unclear, officials said.
The women wrote down similar plate numbers and vehicle descriptions, and identified the same man in a photo, said Jim Amormino, the Orange County Sheriff’s Department spokesman.
Abu Zar, 32, of Las Flores was arrested Thursday at a Sunset Beach Jack in the Box where he was working as a manager.
Zar was booked into the Orange County Jail on suspicion of indecent exposure and released on $15,000 bail.
