Kevin Martin scored 28 points Saturday night to help the Sacramento Kings beat the Denver Nuggets, 94-87.

Playing without injured Allen Iverson and with Carmelo Anthony dogged by Ron Artest, the Nuggets lost for the 20th straight time at Arco Arena, where they have not won in more than 10 years. The losing streak is the longest in the NBA, dating to Jan. 7, 1997.

The Kings won with assistant Scott Brooks running the team instead of Coach Eric Musselman, who was serving the first of a two-game suspension for driving under the influence.

Artest made a three-pointer with 17 seconds left, giving the Kings a 92-87 lead after Denver closed to 90-87 on consecutive three-pointers by Steve Blake and J.R. Smith.

Iverson missed his third straight game with a sprained right ankle.

Chicago 88, Portland 86 -- Ben Gordon scored 15 of his 33 points in the fourth quarter for the Bulls, who won on the road for the second night in a row.

Zach Randolph had 27 points and seven rebounds to lead the Trail Blazers, whose four-game home winning streak ended.

They scored only 28 points in the first half, their lowest output of the season, and tied another season low with a 12-point second quarter.

Miami 117, Milwaukee 98 -- Dwyane Wade capped his special weekend with 32 points and 11 assists, and Jason Kapono added a career-high 28 points for the Heat in Milwaukee.

Wade, who went 11 for 17 from the field, also extended his franchise-best streak of consecutive games with at least 20 points to 14 as Miami won its third straight. Wade’s collegiate jersey was retired Saturday in a ceremony during the Providence-Marquette game.

Shaquille O’Neal, plagued by first-half foul trouble, had 20 points in 20 minutes for the Heat.

Dallas 94, Minnesota 93 -- Josh Howard and Jason Terry had 22 points each and the Mavericks held on to win their 15th straight home game.

Kevin Garnett was in early foul trouble and didn’t get his first rebound until midway through the third quarter. He went on to grab 12 rebounds to go with his 25 points -- 10 in the fourth quarter, but that wasn’t enough for the Timberwolves, who lost for the ninth time in 11 games.

New Orleans 87, Houston 74 -- Devin Brown had 18 points, seven rebounds and five assists for the visiting Hornets, who won for the ninth time in 13 games. Chris Paul, who had 12 points, shot four for 12 in his third game back after missing 17 games because of a sprained right ankle.

Houston shot 37% (29 for 78) and matched season lows for points in a first quarter (15) and first half (30).

Indiana 116, Memphis 110 -- Jermaine O’Neal had 25 points and 17 rebounds, and Jamaal Tinsley also scored 25 points for the Pacers, who won for the sixth time in seven games.

Charlotte 98, Golden State 90 -- Raymond Felton scored eight of his 22 points in the fourth quarter and Gerald Wallace added 21 points and 16 rebounds at home for the Bobcats.

Felton, forced to play a lot of shooting guard after Derek Anderson left because of a sprained right ankle in the first quarter, shot eight for 19 for the Bobcats, who won despite shooting 42% and getting outrebounded by seven.

New York 94, Orlando 86 -- Eddy Curry bulled his way to 27 points, reserve Channing Frye added 18, and the visiting Knicks seized control early. Stephon Marbury had 14 points and six assists for New York, which held the Magic to 37.7% shooting.

Darko Milicic led the Magic with a career-high 19 points.
