Dwyane Wade shook off a bruised left shoulder and outscored Portland by himself in the final quarter to help complete the Miami Heat’s long trip back to .500 with a 104-85 victory Tuesday night over the Trail Blazers at Miami, giving them seven wins in eight games before the All-Star break.

“We’ve gotten to the point we kept talking about,” said Heat interim Coach Ron Rothstein, who went 13-9 as Pat Riley’s replacement. “Now this is our launching pad for after the break.”

Wade, hurt late in the third quarter, had 16 of his points in the final quarter, one more than Portland.
