Stars rally and beat Sharks, 3-2

Philippe Boucher scored the tying goal with 2.2 seconds left, and Mike Ribeiro added the winning shootout goal to his regulation score Tuesday night in the Dallas Stars’ 3-2 victory over the San Jose Sharks at San Jose.

Marty Turco made 15 saves for the Stars, who won for the first time in three games since the All-Star break.

Columbus 3, Vancouver 2 -- Nikolai Zherdev scored the winning shootout goal with a wrist shot off Roberto Luongo’s glove, lifting the Blue Jackets at Vancouver.

Detroit 4, New York Islanders 3 -- The Red Wings, who hadn’t been shut out this season, trailed, 3-0, after two periods but rallied to win in overtime at Uniondale, N.Y.

Minnesota 5, St. Louis 2 -- Pierre-Marc Bouchard’s second goal ended a third-period tie, helping the Wild to a victory at St. Louis.

Colorado 4, Nashville 3 -- Andrew Brunette and Wojtek Wolski each had a goal and an assist, and Peter Budaj stopped 34 shots at Denver to help the Avalanche end the Predators’ four-game winning streak.

Atlanta 5, New Jersey 4 -- Marian Hossa scored the winning goal in a shootout as the Thrashers won at Atlanta.

Buffalo 7, Boston 1 -- Daniel Briere scored three goals and Jason Pominville and Thomas Vanek had a goal and an assist each to give the Sabres the victory at home.

Pittsburgh 3, Florida 0 -- Marc-Andre Fleury stopped 32 shots and the Penguins ended a nearly five-year home losing streak against the Panthers.

Toronto 4, Carolina 1 -- Nik Antropov scored two goals in the third period to lead the Maple Leafs to victory at Raleigh, N.C.

Tampa Bay 4, Philadelphia 3 -- Vincent Lecavalier scored in regulation and then had a goal in the shootout as the Lightning extended the Flyers franchise-worst home losing streak to 11 games.

Ottawa 3, Washington 2 -- Dany Heatley scored his 31st goal and Martin Gerber made 35 saves to lead the Senators at Ottawa.
