Site -- Giants Stadium.

TV -- ESPN2.

Radio -- 1020.

Records -- Chivas 7-5-3; New York 8-6-3.

Record vs New York (2006) -- 0-1-1.

Update -- While Chivas has been great at home (6-0-1), it has been atrocious on the road -- only managing five points in eight games. To make matters worse, the team has been outscored, 14-5, in those road games. Things don’t get any easier on this trip as Chivas plays two of the top four offenses in the league in New York and Kansas City. All-Star most valuable player Juan Pablo Angel returns to the Red Bulls after serving a one-game suspension. Chivas has never defeated New York, although it came close last year in a 5-4 loss on the road. Chivas’ Paulo Nagamura sprained his right knee in the team’s 2-0 loss to New England on July 7 and did not practice Sunday or Monday before the team left town. Chivas doesn’t have another home game until Aug. 26. The team is in third place in the Western Conference.
