From Times Staff and Wire Reports

Suspended NFL player Adam “Pacman” Jones was being sought by police for questioning about a shooting early Monday involving members of his entourage after a fight at an Atlanta strip club.

The Tennessee Titans cornerback is on suspension following a melee and shooting in February at a Las Vegas strip club that left a bar employee paralyzed and two other people wounded.

Jones, his group and three other people got into a fight, apparently over a woman, at a club about 4 a.m., Atlanta police said.

After everyone involved left the strip club -- the three people in one car, and Jones and his entourage in three other cars -- someone in Jones’ group shot several times into the car as it waited at a red light, police said. The driver returned fire toward the shooter.

Police said Jones was not present when the shots were fired and no charges have been filed against him.

One person in the car that was shot at received a minor injury from debris scattered by the shooting, police said.

Manny Arora, Jones’ attorney, said he expects Jones will give the police what help he can.

Jones has been arrested five times. Two arrests he did not report to the Titans or the NFL, leading NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell to suspend him in April for one season. Jones agreed last week not to appeal the suspension and could be reinstated after 10 games if he adheres to conditions set by Goodell and is not arrested again.

Running back Quincy Wilson was charged with disorderly conduct for failing to disperse after a weekend wedding party, making him the 10th Cincinnati Bengals player arrested in the last 14 months.

Wilson was with a wedding party celebrating outside a bar in Huntington, W.Va., about 3 a.m. Sunday when he and 13 others refused a police order to leave, officials said.

Wilson was booked at a jail and released Sunday afternoon.

Stephen Jackson will admit to criminal recklessness in firing a gun outside a strip club, which could lead to a suspension of a one-year jail sentence, said a spokesman for the prosecutor’s office in Indianapolis.

If the plea agreement is accepted by a judge, Jackson will pay a $5,000 fine and perform 100 hours of community service. In return, the Golden State Warriors player will have the jail sentence suspended and a felony converted into a misdemeanor conviction.

Jackson was traded from the Indiana Pacers to the Warriors in January, two months after the Indianapolis nightclub shooting.
