Art, culture and more, a la Pasadena
More than a dozen art and cultural institutions will participate in Friday’s ArtNight Pasadena, a free semiannual sampling of what the city has to offer. Photography and video installations, sculpture, paintings, dance, classical music, jazz, blues, storytelling and even a cappella doo-wop will be presented during the event, sponsored by the Pasadena Arts & Culture Commission.
Attendees can park at any of the venues, which include the Armory Center for the Arts, Norton Simon Museum of Art, Pasadena Jazz Institute, Pasadena Museum of History, Pasadena Museum of California Art and Boston Court Performing Arts Complex. A free shuttle will take them to the other venues. Or take the Metro Gold Line to Old Pasadena.
